Fort Williams Park offers beautiful lighthouse views. There are lovely walking and hiking paths. A small museum for little cost. Take a seat and spend some time enjoying. As a plus there is a food truck that I hear has excellent lobster rolls. I did not have one but probably worth a try. We started by parking in the lighthouse parking lot and took some awesome photos of Portland Head Lighthouse from different vantage points. The kids loved being able to touch the lighthouse. From the lighthouse we embarked on the "Cliff Walk" which is a nice wide path above the shoreline. It is up and down several hills, but very doable for most. The path is very picturesque and seems to go on forever. There are benches along the way to rest or just sit and take in the beautiful view. The large rocky beach that is fun to explore as well and has a big parking lot and more picnic tables. We spent hours at this beautiful park and the little ones loved it all. There are a few contribution boxes in the park for those who want to contribute to it's upkeep and it's well worth a couple bucks apiece. There are even basketball and tennis courts in this park.
