A really wonderful place, though the temple is not open to the public except for tours on Sunday I think. I visited on a Saturday mid-day, so the area available to see was a lot more limited than the 4 acres that they occupy. It was still a good half-hour of peace and beauty, though! It's a bit out of the way for most city folks, and perhaps even unnaturally well-kept and clean. Perhaps that is why the ducks and one swan we saw appeared to be quite content. Parking was not a problem in the lower lot and was free. Be prepared to see something rare in arid southern California these days- a lush landscape of varying green hues.
