Long treks through the woods and some high heights made this place a little too difficult for me. We spent hours hiking on the trails and swimming in a canyon where you could swim and play in a magnificent water fall (don't expect to see spectacular waterfalls if it hasn't rained in a while). The rocks were very slimy and slippery and the water wasn't very clear- a little too stagnant. Bring water shoes! No bathrooms around for miles probably meant everyone was going in the water :/ Even though you are not supposed to, you can walk around the river above the falls during the summer when the water levels are lower.Leave the car at the parking lot and hike 3/4 mile to Martha's Falls. Be sure to bring a swim suit, water shoes, and sunscreen.
