Awenda Provincial Park Hike

Awenda offers seven trails in total, but we recommend checking out the 13 km Bluff Trail. With beautiful trees and wetland leading the way, this trail will take a total of three and a half to four hours to complete. Most of the trails were quite flat and shared with cyclists. There are a couple of nice spots ... a small beaver pond, the beaches. But with all the campers around, it didn't feel like the remote wilderness I like in a park. Bathrooms were relatively clean, till of course the next morning when there's flies and moths flying about. They close the bathrooms from 11:50-12:10 daily to clean them.
