This is a short but rewarding hike and rock scramble. The trail begins with a fairly steep section, then gets easier. Follow the blue blazes. You will get to the rocks, and there are blazes on them. You will have to climb rocks a bit, and you will need both hands. Small children or folks with bad knees will have problems. There are a few false summits, and then you reach the top, a long rocky area with steep drops on both sides and a 360 degree view. We spend a long time at the top every time. Again, this may not be a place for small children. Along the trail there are beautiful wildflowers (especially in May and June) and occasional deer and rarely, black bears.
