The Blautopf is a small lake/lagoon that is fed by an underground spring. It's quite deep-there was a theory that it was bottomless until the late 19th century-and its waters are really blue-and that's a particularly beautiful blue. Have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine at the café on the lake's shore and enjoy the amazing scenery. Blaubeuren isn't really close to the motorway, but the trip is fine
