Gentle waves and surfers of all ages. This is a great place to learn. Parking is a challenge but people are coming and going all the time so patience helps. It's a great place to learn how to surf. I usually go with more experienced surfers and they really like it as well. There are a couple nearby surf shops for renting but you might get a better deal in the city.
