Bora Bora may feel away from worlds, but this splendor of the South Seas is within easy reach. Where precisely is Bora Bora located? Just east of Tahiti, the island is less than an hour away from Papeete by aircraft. The airport is situated on a tiny, distinct portion of the Motu Mete island.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a warm smile and fragrant lei of flowers and transported by ship to your Bora Bora resort, which means you will hardly have to wait for your first meeting with the famous translucent lagoon of the island.
The ideal white-sand beaches of Bora Bora offer way to the blue waters where the coral gardens are animated by tropical-colored fish and giant manta rays glide past. This could readily be described as the middle of the romantic universe, where luxurious resorts and spas dot the island with overwater bungalows, stuffed-roof villas, and a fabulous atmosphere. To put it simply, Bora Bora is one of the world's most lovely islands.
If you would like to try the Boro Bora wave then there are two spots on Bora Bora to surf. 1)Teavanui Pass 2) Motu Pitiaau. They play to different weather conditions opening up an extended surf season of sorts. We jumped in the boat with Raimanu & headed off in search of the perfect break. The best known, most regular & easiest to reach is the left off Teavanui Pass. It’s a great setting overlooking Motu Tapu, Mt Otemanu, and the Pearl Beach Resort.
