Cloaca Maxima

The Maxima Cloaca was the main sewer in ancient Rome. It worked pretty well too! Today, of course, it's just a shadow of its former self, so to speak, as hardly any of it trembled, except a trickle of water, if you could manage to get to it. You also need to know what you're looking for if you're trying to find it, as it's not easy to access it, and you're likely to be unimpressed when you do it! This is only die-hards for history!
