This is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The trails are wide and the scenery is beautiful.Make sure you are well prepared. We brought lots of food and water because we didn't know how long it would take us. The trail seemed groomed for all ages and some decent fitness level with of course proper attire such as footwear. The turnoff at Highway #99 to parking lot is so small, paved road on the right of the highway when heading from Vancouver to whistler and is so easy to miss. If you need to see the list of all the trails then visit http://whistlerhiatus.com/parks.html and you'll get the detailed info on all the trails. We hiked from Rubble Creek parking lot to Garibaldi Lake & camped out by Garibaldi Lake for 2 nights. I highly recommend this camp. The trail is very easy to follow, well marked. On the way up it took us 3.5 hours and under 3 hours on the way back down. The trail is 9KM; the first 6KM is a steady uphill through deep forest, the last 3 KM is a little flatter and you cut through some other lakes. If you ever get lost look for Garibaldi provincial park sign and if using GPS the Coordinate is:49.957722,-123.120292 ( Added to this listing)
