Trails are well maintained and well marked. Very nice hills and they have tried to embed rocks as steps in most places. Trails start up high generally and descend down to the lake level. I hiked the south portion one Saturday and then the north portion the next Saturday. Going the north way there's a stop with some porta-potties and a small picnic area with some rustic farm implements. The beach of the lake is much more accessible on the south end (big drop down to get from the woods/trail down to the beach on the north end). A lot of parking but busy on the weekend. Many people trail running but also families hiking. The shoreline loop is a bit more difficult, and a great little workout. Take lots of water! There is shade, but also lots of uncovered sunny spots, and it gets pretty hot.
