Enjoy a day near Munduk Waterfall

Bali is a green paradise that every intrepid traveler must visit at least once in a lifetime. One of the most beautiful hidden gems of this island is surely the Munduk Waterfall located in the mountain region. Only an hour and a half from Ubud, and two hours away from Canggu, Mundul Waterfall is an impressive place to visit, run by a couple of locals. 

Thanks to this, the venue is unknown, so it's most likely you'll have the area to yourself the entire day. Swimming at the bottom of the waterfall is recommended after the 15-minute walk, although sometimes the water is not so deep. Munduk is a powerful waterfall and an easy hike for all of you who feel lazy to explore furthermore. A picnic lunch and fresh drinks would complete your enjoyment, and if you want to spend the entire day at Munduk, you are very welcome to do that. 

To move around Bali, your best bet is to rent a scooter. From the parking lot to the waterfall, you need to trek down towards the old bamboo bridge, from where you can make epic photos. 

Honestly, Munduk Waterfall is not the best you are going to see in Bali, but it is the least known and secluded. 

Munduk is a place for travelers looking for something more than tourist attractions and want to explore the true beauty of Bali. People here are friendly towards tourists, so you don't need to worry too much about your safety. 

When renting a scooter, you also have the option to hire a driver that can take around so you can enjoy the views instead of focusing on the road. A day price for only a scooter is 50,000 IDR ($3,50), while a scooter with a driver is 500,000 IDR ($35) for eight hours.
