Hike to Pozza di Fassa

The Aloch ski run, which belongs to the Val di Fassa ski stadium, is the ideal spot for skiers and snowboarders alike in winter. Well-known in the international ski racing world, it even includes both night skiing and Nordic trails. Those interested in art may be pleased to know that they also find the local art institute in Pozza di Fassa, where numerous artists and sculptors have learned their trade.

What you need for a trip is a map with all the peaks and ski lifts. This map can be picked up in the hotel you stay in.  Get to the Friedrich August Weg starting at Col Rodella is an easy and scenic walk. Along another route, Passo Principe (2600m) provides stunning views. The trail from Gardeccia to Vajolet towers is not that easy: it goes on the rocks. Wired poles help you advance a few places. Trails are very busy around 9.30-10.30 in the morning when most of the tourists start their hike. Try to be there earlier. The lifts begin at 8.30.
