Forza D'Agrò was the place of Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather's scenes set in Corleone. You will recognize the landscape with its ancient rocks, ancient wood, bamboo huts and homes, whatever the earth had to give. You will stay fascinated by the old brick and water walls, as well as the San Michele church, and then you will see the Cappuccini Convent Catacomb. The movie image showed Bar Vitelli, which is still a working institution, as the location where Corleone requested the dad of Apollonia to meet his girl; here you can appreciate a typical Sicilian pie (cold fruit).
The outstanding place of Forza d'Agrò on a hillside provides amazing panoramic views of the adjacent region: the Ionian coast, Giardini-Naxos Bay and Mount Etna. From the center of Forza d'Agrò you can enjoy amazing views.
