It's a fun trek through the woods leading to a beautiful vista. As others have mentioned, you must park down the hill from the dead end, and then you access the trailhead by walking down the western-most road with a large gate. The steps up the side are fairly worn in and it actually sometimes makes it even more difficult than the angle of the hill itself. When you’re on top it’s amazing and absolutely beautiful. on the northern side it’s a nice 500 to 600 foot drop straight down to the beach. there’s plenty of room up on top even if you have a medium size group. The hardest part of the entire hike was coming down the face of Gods thumb that was a crazy adventure with the baby strapped on a back back.
