Grizzly Reservoir, officially called Lincoln Gulch Diversion Dam, is a 570 acre-foot reservoir near Aspen, CO . The trails for this lake are breathtakingly beautiful. Trails have amazing views and the lake is prime for fishing. The trail winds through different terrain and fauna until you start to climb above the sparse trees. Camping by the reservoir is also a great fun and gets you hiking early but have to remind you that Hypothermia is not out of the question if you get caught in a mountain storm. Electric Pass, another great hike in the area, is spectacular, but it has similar views and is much longer.
