Back in the seventeenth century, the Duke of the Chartres ordered for the construction of Parc Monceau. Being one of the most sophisticated and elegant gardens of Paris, the Parc Monceau is located in eighth arrondissement and represent the district with its individual identity. Parc Monceau has a beautiful surrounding of grandeur buildings and magnificent mansions, one being the Musée Cernuschi which is the Museum of Asian Arts. The front of the garden is a beautifully decorated wrought gate with gold embellishments while the inside of the garden is surprisingly amazing with different attention catching spots such as statues, spectacular view of trees, Renaissance archway of Paris City Hall, the different kind of beautiful birds inhabiting the park and a calming view of large water pond. Parc Monceau has a beautiful surrounding of grandeur buildings and magnificent mansions, one being the Musée Cernuschi which is the Museum of Asian Arts. The park is indeed a pleasant and calm place for all the tourists and an enjoyable experience for the children, offering a playground area to them.
