Ponta do Pargo Lighthouse

This view point is amazing. You drive down off the main road very easily accessed. Plenty of a layby to park up. There is a wall which overlooks the east coast and then you can walk to a dirt track and look towards the west. When you go on the dirt track section you need to be careful it has a steep incline and loose rocks its the top of the cliff face you can get right to the edge and look over. It isn't somewhere you don't want to be paying attention. Enjoy the incredible views. My tip would be bring a few sandwiches and cool drinks it be a great spot to enjoy an hour of the views and some lunch. Don't try and access by public transport higher a car. The island is so easily accessed by car the roads are in great shape.
