Hike Flatiron Via Siphon Draw Trail

This trail is hard but very rewarding and beautiful! The view on top of flatiron is great and it's unique hiking up to the cooler mountain top from the desert below. Entry into the park costs $7/vehicle. Be prepared to sweat and be very aware of sticking to the trail and looking for the blue spray paint markers and orange direction arrows. Its really easy to go off trail toward the last 1.5 miles. Many people tend to drift right where it appears the trail leads but its extremely important to stay left and on the trail. ! If you're not sure if you're on the trail and can't see any trail markers turn around and get back on the marked trail. This is easier said than done as it gets fairly steep at the top and scrambling down once off trail seems nearly impossible.
