The Blowing Rock

Incredible views of the North Carolina Mountains. The rock, is yes protruding out about 20 ft and a staggered length of 50 ft along the pathway.You can see these views from other spots for free but the legend and the gardens are worth the few bucks you spend. The kids really enjoyed climbing and posing on and under the rock. Very easy access. Gift shop had very nice local gifts, but a t-shirt at over $25 is not worth it for me. Felt the shop was overpriced on all items and toys.
