Kotor, a city of traders and famous sailors with many stories to tell, is located along one of the most beautiful bays in the world. Kotor's Old City is a well-preserved middle-aged urbanization built between the 12th and 14th centuries. Medieval architecture and numerous cultural heritage monuments have made Kotor land on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. Narrow streets and squares intersect the buildings throughout the city. At the center of one of these squares is the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon (Sveti Tripun), a monument of Roman culture and one of the city's most recognizable symbols.
