This national treasure is part of the largest tract of protected land on the planet. Most visitors, like us, simply touch the outside edge of this park along the Alaska Highway. We tented in or along the park for two nights and hiked a 5 km trail in, and back out. We want to back when we have more time to spend. It's not the kind of park that you can see without making an effort. A person needs to either hike or canoe to get around in this wilderness. I suppose some will spend the cash for a helicopter tour. I'm glad that Parks Canada is doing its best to keep this area pristine.
