Zabriskie Point is on Highway 190 past the Furnace Creek Visitor Center. According to Wikipedia, it is known for their erosional landscape and are composed of sediments from the Furnace Creek Lake that was dried up millions of years ago. There is a parking lot and restrooms available. As you follow the paved trail up, you can view the badlands. There are different viewing sections and chairs for you to sit on. At the top, you'll see Zabriskie Point! The badlands formations are pretty cool from the top. At the base of the paved trail to Zabriskie Point, there is a trail right of the sign where you can hike the Badlands Loop (2.5 miles roundtrip), Golden Canyon Trailhead via Golden Canyon (2.5 miles one way) and Golden Canyon Trailhead via Gower Gulch (3 miles one way). I heard Zabriskie Point is a great place to watch the sunset. Enjoy!
