17-Mile Drive (Monterey, CA)

This drive is wonderful but pull over to take pics and just enjoy the rugged beauty of the sea, wildlife or the beautiful homes. For a $10 entry fee one can drive the 17 miles with numerous outstanding scenic views of surf, beaches, homes, golf courses, and rocky shorelines! The pinnacle of our visit was lunch at the famed Pebble Beach at the Bench, a seat on the terrace overlooking the 18th green at Pebble Beach. The table included a fire pit in the center. Prices were MORE than reasonable, and the $10 entry fee was deducted from the check. Don't miss the gift shops for memorabilia, clothes, and all golf related items. This is a Must See for anyone who loves golf, beaches, surf, and majestic scenery!
