Belle Isle Trail

There is much to see and do, particularly if you are into civil war history, but this place is always very crowded, and being that it is in the heart of the city, you have a nice mix of the rudest people. Make sure to check out the bridge suspended underneath the highway so you can cross the James river with spectacular views. Bustling with bikers/ hikers/ families/ dog walkers enjoying the outdoors. There is so much to see between the water views, old hydro plant, rock walls, mountain bike course (belle isle skills area), and the Hollywood cemetery.
