Camel riding Erg Chebbi, Morocco

It's a once in a lifetime opportunity - Camels in the Sahara with Berber hospitality. If you've gone to the trouble of getting to Morocco, you MUST visit Erg Chebbi and spend the night in the desert. I warn you it's a great deal more tame than you might imagine, but charming nonetheless. We had a driver/guide that made the arrangements for us, but any of the hotels Merzouga will take care of you and set something up. Also, do NOT miss a quick visit to the neighboring Gnauoa village and listen to the intoxicating music, as well as the near by village of Rossani on market day, both of which are priceless experiences.
