It doesn’t take long to immerse oneself in the Grecian lifestyle. Take in jaw-dropping sunsets from atop rocky landscapes, stroll amid quaint blue-shuttered, whitewashed houses, or reflect amidst spectacular ruins pulsing with history. And then there’s the people: welcoming, hospitable, wonderful folk who never pass up the opportunity to pass a plate of fresh olives and feta to hungry travelers. Starting in Athens, explore the ancient ruins of the Acropolis and Parthenon before jetting off to the islands of Tinos and Naxos. Vineyards, terraced hillsides and olive groves stretch all the way to the sea, beckoning us to enjoy their spoils. Our last island stop is Santorini, world-famous for its dramatic underwater crater and brilliant sunsets. Each day we hike winding footpaths, soak up huge vistas, enjoy relaxing swims and delight in fresh, simple Grecian fare. If it were possible to forget Greece, we would be glad for the chance to rediscover it each time with fresh eyes.
