The blow holes are very close to Bicheno's center and then near the road / parking area with a short walk to the sight-seeing area. The actual blow hole on the day we were there was quite docile, as there was only a slight sea, although it was worth a look. Bicheno visitors take part in motor tricycle tours, wine tours, bird watching, sea kayaking, and more. Nevertheless, despite all these recreational options, most come to see the Bicheno Blowhole, a hole in the granite rocks that concentrate even small waves into powerful water jets. The Bicheno Blowhole is located on the sandy and granite coastline right next to the water.
