Colca Canyon (Arequipa Region)

We took the scenic route around Huanca Natural Park to Colca Canyon from Arequipa. Saw wild vicunas, beautiful creatures. Sabancaya Volcano's spewing ash was quite a sight. Hiked to the lesser known but well-preserved Inca ruins of Uyu Uyu in Coporaque. Binoculars would be useful to appreciate the condors flying high up in the mirador. Three days were not enough in Colca Canyon, I would have stayed for a week here and I would not get tired of the amazing landscapes.Best time to see condurs are from March to May, as our guide told us.
