Lotusland is a beautiful spot with many lovely and unique gardens. Hidden in the hills near Santa Barbara, the story of its owner, Ganna Walska, is really more fascinating than Lotusland itself. I enjoyed the tour and had a lovely visit. A few drawbacks however - it does cost $45 for a two hour visitThis is 38 acres of botanical "treasures" from all over the world. We attended The Lotus Festival today and had a wonderful afternoon. Barb, our Docent, led us through the grounds and shared a wealth of knowledge about the history, the former owners, and the plants. The love, care and devotion shown for this magnificent garden was expressed by all of the many Volunteers and Docents. It is a "Must See"!!
