Located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Crackington Haven is a small village on the North coast just West of Bude. Once a tiny harbor carrying coal and limestone from Wales, which narrowly avoided industrial development in the 1800s, it is now a small unspoiled, almost secret, cove.
It is an excellent place for surfing with the right conditions. Spend time investigating and relaxing on the beach which is pebbly at high tide; enjoy a paddle or catch a wave. There are a bistro cafe and a family pub The Coombe Barton Inn and nearby toilet facilities and a small outlet for beach items.
