One of the highlights of our 10 day trip to Moab area was a visit to Dead Horse Point. Standing there and looking into this amazing gorge was truly an experience. Colors, shapes, levels and layers all jump at you. The way the Colorado River cut and created this beauty is difficult to believe. The edge of the gorge is very high (one area had stone guard rails which was great) and there were lots of spots to walk around to improve your photos. Best views you'll get for an easy, low stress ride. Great intro for anyone looking to warm up their skills at the beginning of a vacation or looking for a trail with low chance of serious injury. Dead Horse Point will probably always be my favorite.
