Denver Botanic Gardens

One of the nation's top five botanical gardens, Denver Botanic Gardens is a town oasis that offers year-round activities, Mordecai Children's Garden, lifelong learning possibilities, and research to maintain the valuable natural resources of Colorado.

The route is well illuminated and you can see many distinct screens. The beauty of the gardens is really highlighted without detracting from the crops themselves. I believe my favourite region was the nearly psychedelic lights tunnel whose patterns were programmed to change and dance with the music in rhythm. Halfway through the walk it is discovered and certainly not to be missed.

There's free parking, discounts for students/seniors/children/military, and apparently many events that happen throughout the year.
