Pacific Spirit Regional Park is a hiker's paradise on the western edge of Vancouver, right against the University of British Columbia. There are more than 54 kilometers of walking / hiking trails, with a mixture of forest and shoreline trails. The park has over 750 hectares of forest, and an easy loop trail will allow you to walk through much of it for three hours. For those who are looking for a shorter hike, there are many smaller trails.

Viewing the park map and determining your own route is the best way to see the park. However, we will follow a common route through much of the forest that will take you on a 3-hour trip.  Take the trail at the 16th Avenue gate next to Camosun Park and walk through the woods. At the first intersection, turn left a short distance and continue along the trail until you reach Imperial Road.

Bring the kids! Bring the dogs! An amazing forest escape from the city thats easy to get to with tons of parking.
