The Karo national Park is a wildlife reserve located in the Great Karo area of the Western Cape, South Africa. It is a semi-deserted area, spread over an area of 750 square km. The park is around 500 km from Cape Town and 1000km from Johannesburg.

The park is a year-round place to visit. It's up to you whether you prefer the heat or cold. The summer months tend to get really hot here with temperature going as high as 40-degree Celcius. And in the winters the temperature can sometimes reach a low of 0-degree Celcius.
