Nestled on a small street called' Rue Chanoinesse' at no. 24, formerly known as' Rue des Marmousets,' a step down this street is like heading straight into the very underbelly of medieval Paris. Spared the 19th-century massive overhaul of Haussmann's architecture, you'll want the walls to be able to talk as you walk down this road.
Perhaps rather macabrely, the café is right next to a courtyard lined with gravestones repurposed. But again, in the city of lights, you're never far from tradition, and no exception is Number 26 Rue Chanoinesse.
You can get a beautiful, typical French gourmet that is nicely prepared and delicious.
