Took an overnight backpacking day trip to the warm springs by using the Dingford Creek Trail. The Middle Fork Road is in extremely good condition – it appears like they put down clean gravel – but the 5-ish miles on Dingford Creek road certain is a nail-biter! A high clearance automobile is a must. My Nissan Rogue (2WD) handed through like a champ. There have been solely 2 or 3 simply nerve-wracking moments crossing washouts and dried out riverbed, but with staying power and taking it slowly, its doable! It look us about 1.5 hours to get to trailhead from Issaquah.
The 4.5 mile hike to the caretaker cabin is fantastically easy. Its snow free and a gentle grade along the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River. Once at the caretaker cabin it is about another miles to the springs at a steeper incline, but you’ll there before you understand it. There are three pools to enjoy – the pool at the pinnacle is the warmest and extends lower back into the facet of the mountain about 20 feet! The campsites are spacious and positioned properly aside from each other. No want to convey your bear canister or camp chair, each web site has one or two log benches and undergo wire, and the caretaker will furnish you with a bucket.
