A well maintained section of canal with about 7 locks and a tunnel. Well maintained by volunteers. There are 21 locks between the picnic site/carpark near Warwick Parkway railway station and the top of the Hatton Flight, two miles upstream. The walk is easy, the differently-decorated narrow boats a sight to behold. Every craft is moving at a leisurely pace, and lock courtesy is abundant. The Leicester branch also has a beautiful staircase lock flight but no access by road or footpath - only towpath. Food available at New Inn and Wilton Marina.
