Cooks Beach Surf

Cooks Beach is a beautiful sandy beach in a rock-walled cove just north of Gualala. The waves roll into the cove and crash on the smooth sandy beach sometimes pushing driftwood onshore. Water pools at the back of Cook’s Beach where Glennen Gulch Creek flows in. The beach is accessed via the Bonham Trail. This beach is located in a "banana belt" of warmer climate trends, Cooks Beach is often sunny and free of wind, making it a perfect place to hang out and enjoy the warm sand.
