Hartshorne Woods

Pleasant surprise and more of a workout than i anticipated. Great views of the ocean. This park has a really great set of narrow and winding running and hiking trails. Very well marked trails with maps available at trail head for newcomers. Easy terrain through mountain laurel, oak trees and wildflowers. This trail is primarily intended for walking, but you will come across joggers and mountain bikers frequently. Pets on leash are allowed, and as you can see by the photo I uploaded our 2 year old Westie Clancy loves to get his hike on there. I would definitely go back.
