Hike Malibu Lake

Malibu Lake Vista Trail, as the name suggests, offers beautiful views of Malibu Lake. The trail is within the Historic Reagan Ranch and is accessible from the staging area. To make a nice loop from this trailhead, connect with Yearling and Deer Leg Trails. Although the route up from Deer Leg Trail is densely wooded, the trail is mostly coastal chaparral. The trail opens with open lake views along the top. The trail can be accessed from the Malibu Creek State Park staging area of the Reagan Ranch. From 101, exit at Agoura Hills at Kanan Rd. Travel to Cornell Wy in the south and turn left. Continue to Mullholland Hwy for 2.3 miles. Continue straight onto Lake Vista Dr. Just after the intersection, the staging area will be on the left.
