Hike to Chitradurga Fort

This is good place to visit as a day trip as well as a stop while returning on AH47 or the Mumbai/Pune/Goa highway. This fort is very well preserved & also has many sights of interst for history buffs. The oil wells, guns, street planning & swing lamp plus the brave woman Obavva story will surely mesmerise you. Its very well maintained, would recommend a guide if you really want to explore the fort. Read about the fort and the history.
