This part of Dartmoor is certainly worth a visit. There are plenty of routes for scenic walks around Hound Tor, and the panoramic view from the top of the tor is amazing! Just a short walk from Hound Tor car park are the wonderful granite boulders of Hound Tor, and the nearby Greator Rocks and deserted mediaeval village. Splendid scrambling for children (and older), varied scenery and great views
