Jardines de Ca n'Altimira

The garden was built in 19th century by the millionaire Joseph Altimira who had returned from Cuba back to Barcelona in 1860. The gardens are extraordinary with a number of amazing sites such as subterranean galleries, zoo, esoteric symbolism containing pillar hall and hypostyle room. The garden is also famous for the stories connected to it such as the Altimira’s life story of training drinks serving orangutan waiter.
