I was lucky enough to get a site on the opening week of the campground. Campground is spotless, sites are gigantic (you could put 3 long travel trailers in my spot), nice view of the lake, and the camp host went out of his way to accommodate my needs. The temperatures during the day were warm but the nights were cold, it was still early in the season, the facilities were basic, but very clean and maintained. There are only vault toilets to use but well maintained and clean. The water level of the lake was low and the water very muddy at the time of my visit. The campground is a few minutes drive from the town of Williams, and an hour away from the Grand Canyon. I had a great time camping there, I will defiantly return, a key highlight for me was waking up to a herd of elk walking through our site in the morning and hearing the elk call at night.
