Visit Kilt Rock View point, Portree

This waterfall is spectacular. It's literally an immediate turn off of the road with a nice parking lot and fenced off area for taking in the scenery. At first it looks like it's not big deal. As you go in through the gate, nearing the view point behind the rails, the water falling down, the distance. Than you ensemble in front of the waterfall......and your eyes glimmer!!! The 360 view is littered with sheer steep cliffs, tumbling down into the sea. The water comes from a lake opposite the site area.
