A pure gem in the English countryside, well worth every step taken and not over strenuous for the less seasoned walker. Beginning at Edale and the start of the Pennine Way, this was a terrific walk on a sunny cold spring day. An easy start with a couple of steep uphill sections, but good under foot with established paths. Spectacular scenery across moorland & boulder fields with great views everywhere. A popular walk at the weekend, there were plenty of people about, so not the kind of place for some isolation, but this didn't detract from a thoroughly great day out.
