Leo Carrillo State Park and Beach

Dogs must remain on a leash at all times, and of course, people are prompted to pick up after their pooping pets. It's $12 or $14 for parking, or you can park along PCH for free and walk/haul all your things in. The water is a bit chilly so you might want to bring a wetsuit. Water visibility is clear if you go snorkeling or diving. Great kid friendly beaches to walk around. Great for spearfishing or recreational diving. Just a few surf spots along the beach. Don't plan on going snorkeling or diving on a day that it is windy as the kite surfers or wind surfers might come out and run you over
