Charmouth beach Part of the Jurassic Coast, just east of the more visited and commercialised Lyme Regis. Ideal for fossil hunting, or just building sandcastles on the beach. There were plenty of small fossils (mostly ammonites) in the clay at the base of the cliffs, and also some nices ones along the shoreline. If your interested in photography then coming down here would be a great experience for you! NB there is a large car park very close by with £4 fees to park all day.
