Great sunrise hike (less people and parking is trivial) but you may be stuck with clouds as the primary view. the Hike it self is also a great cardio workout and leg work out. there is a scramble and some mountain scaling but i believe that even the "beginner" hiker that likes a challenge would love this hike. give yourself 4-6 hours for an out and back hike. i like to start early to avoid the crowds. we headed out at at the trail head at 0700 and reached the summit at 0900 with a lot of breaks. there is a "false" summit so make sure that you climb the concrete slabs or "boulders" so that you can reach the real summit. There are also great views of Mason lake and Mt. Rainer.
